Summary: research which aspires to reflect on the configuration of nowadays criminal system, through an analysis of criminal-politic consequences of the most important reforms (criminal, procedural, jurisdictional, penitentiary, administrative, etc.) that took place in the Spanish State within 1995 and 2005. We aspire to put in context a moment of a deep regression and involution in the field of liberties, fundamental rights and criminal and procedural guarantees.
