Summary: this research takes as a geographical reference the province of Barcelona, and as a subjective parameter the group of persons and institutions dedicated to mediation. It aspires to describe their mediating activity, the way it’s conceived and the characteristics of those who practice it. It’ll also be made a data basis of persons and institutions involved in mediation, which is planned to be extended in the following two years (2008-2009) to Lleida and Girona provinces.
